Military Tune EP by metalmouse remixes Einhänder
Square Enix has published the second installment in the Military Tune EP series, following DJ Kaya's electronic remixes of Threads of Fate and Front Mission themes. Military Tune MondKraft EP by metalmouse covers the stage themes "Thermosphere" and "Zero Gravity" from Kenichiro Fukui's Einhänder PSone score.
Retro/Grade postmortem posted to GDC Vault
Independent developer Matt Gilgenbach gave a presentation at the 2013 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco on the making of Retro/Grade, available through PlayStation Network and Steam. The score for the game, a shooter played backwards to the beat of the music, is by Skyler McGlothlin of the band Nautilis.

Tokyo-based electronic music artist Sexy-Synthesizer has posted 8-bit styled arrangements of three tracks from the recent POP! vocal album. Available to stream in full and purchase through Bandcamp, the songs feature instrumentation by Takeshi Nagai and vocals by Chihiro, pictured in sprite art form on the album's front cover.
Pokémon Ballet set to Kanto Symphony
Ballet choreographer Andrew Plotner has uploaded a half-hour video of his Pokémon Ballet, based on the story and characters of the Nintendo game series. The ballet, performed at the Creighton Lied Arts Center in Omaha, Nebraska, is set to the Kanto Symphony album arranged by Skotein and released through iTunes.

Anamanaguchi's Endless Fantasy album, featuring dance music created using hacked Game Boys and Famicom consoles, has reached its funding goal on Kickstarter. Backer rewards include the chip rock album as a digital download, on compact disc, in a USB drive together with music videos, as well as limited edition vinyl.
DJ Kaya's Military Tune EP remixes PS1 era Square
DJ Kaya has released an EP of PlayStation era Square remixes through iTunes, entitled Military Tune Lost Memories. "A Chance Meeting" from Threads of Fate and "Manifold Irons" from Front Mission first appeared on Square Enix's 2012 Tokyo Game Show Sampler CD and on the digital soundtrack to Front Mission Evolved.
