Frontier Gate Boost+ music samples on YouTube

Konami's online store has uploaded soundtrack samples from the expansion to Frontier Gate, the Japan-only PlayStation Portable action role-playing game. Developed by Tri-Ace, Frontier Gate Boost+ features original and arranged music by Naoyuki Sato (known also by the fearsome moniker NEKOMATA-Master).

Kenji Ito scores mobile action RPG Blade & Magic

Romancing SaGa series composer Kenji Ito is writing original music for Spike Chunsoft's Blade & Magic, due out later this year in Japan. Described as a "swipe action RPG" for its touchscreen-based sword combat, two music tracks from the smartphone title can be sampled on the developer's YouTube channel.

Dust: An Elysian Tail soundtrack preorders open

The original soundtrack to Dust: An Elysian Tail by HyperDuck SoundWorks and Alex Brandon is now available for preorder on Bandcamp at a reduced price. The album will return to its original price on Monday, when the full 37-track, 107-minute soundtrack to the XBLA title is released and streaming in full online.

Torchlight II score by Matt Uelmen free to download

The 28-track score to Torchlight II by composer Matt Uelmen has been made free to download in mp3 format through the action role-playing game's official website. Developed by Runic Games, the peer-to-peer multiplayer co-op enabled sequel featuring randomly generated dungeons is scheduled for release today for PCs.

Virt scores Legend of the Time Star

Jake "virt" Kaufman is writing original music for retro action role-playing game Legend of the Time Star, developed by New York indie-core collective Attack Mountain. A Kickstarter campaign will be taking place over the next 30 days to fund the title, with three music tracks available to sample on YouTube.
