Square Enix has announced Rise of Mana for iPhone and Android, a new smartphone title in the Seiken Densetsu series of action RPGs. The soundtrack album for the mobile title is planned for release on April 23 in Japan, featuring music by series composers Tsuyoshi Sekito, Kenji Ito, Hiroki Kikuta and Yoko Shimomura.

Square Enix has announced the publisher's first soundtrack album release for Blu-ray, following two orchestral concerts documented on the disc format. Before Meteor: Final Fantasy XIV, a music Blu-ray, is due out August 14, featuring compositions by series composer Nobuo Uematsu together with in-house musicians.

Dragon's Dogma expansion Dark Arisen for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be receiving a soundtrack album release on April 24, continuing the partnership between developer Capcom and publisher Square Enix Music. The 2-disc, 53-track album will feature a bonus track by Tadayoshi Makino and Tsuyoshi Sekito.

French language site Musica Ludi has posted a news item translating to "Nobuo Uematsu is not alone anymore on Final Fantasy XIV." The staff role for the 1.19 version update reveals three additional composers are contributing to the game score.
