Tsuyoshi Sekito's Guitarworks Selection on iTunes
Square Enix in-house composer Tsuyoshi Sekito really likes to play the guitar. To demonstrate, the musician has published a ten-track compilation including some of his favorite guitar licks, from games including The Last Remnant, as well as the Black Mages concert series and the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children film.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen album planned for April
Dragon's Dogma expansion Dark Arisen for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be receiving a soundtrack album release on April 24, continuing the partnership between developer Capcom and publisher Square Enix Music. The 2-disc, 53-track album will feature a bonus track by Tadayoshi Makino and Tsuyoshi Sekito.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta music preview
Square Enix has uploaded a preview of Limsa Lominsa territory music from the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta. Music for the massively multiplayer online RPG, due to relaunch in mid-2013 on PCs and PlayStation 3, is by in-house composers Naoshi Mizuta, Ryo Yamazaki, Tsuyoshi Sekito and Masayoshi Soken.
Final Fantasy III announced for PlayStation Portable
Square Enix has announced that the Nintendo DS and iOS remake of Final Fantasy III is planned for release on the PlayStation Portable on September 20 in Japan. The portable title will allow the option of playing to the 8-bit Famicom or enhanced, arranged music score for the game, composed by Nobuo Uematsu.
Tsuyoshi Sekito shares Imaginary Range samples
Game composer Tsuyoshi Sekito has posted two music tracks from separate episodes of Square Enix's gaming-comics hybrid Imaginary Range to his blog "Sekito Clinic." The themes "Title 1" and "Chocobo Chaser" are available to stream in full online by clicking the big orange buttons marked "PLAY."
Monster×Dragon 2.0 update sound sample
Game composer Tsuyoshi Sekito has uploaded a two-minute cross-fade sample to the Square Enix Music Blog, featuring music from the score to browser game Monster×Dragon, which has been expanded with the most recent content update. The sample includes music composed by Sekito, Ryo Yamazaki and Hidenori Iwasaki.
Live A Live soundtrack samples online
Square Enix has uploaded samples from the soundtrack to Live A Live to the official website. Due out May 2 in Japan, the album will include music from the Super Famicom role-playing game, as well as two arranged tracks first included with the limited edition guidebook. Music for the game is by Yoko Shimomura.
Kingdom Hearts 3D soundtrack disc 3 samples online
Square Enix has released the soundtrack to Nintendo 3DS action title Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance in Japan. Music samples from each disc of the three-disc album, composed by Yoko Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto and Tsuyoshi Sekito, are currently available on the official website.

Square Enix has updated the official webpage for the soundtrack album to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for Nintendo 3DS. There are now samples of six tracks from the second disc of the album available to stream online, composed by Yoko Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto and Tsuyoshi Sekito.

Today a cross-fade sample for the 1.2 update has been made available to stream online. Square Enix previously posted excerpts from the Final Fantasy XIV's 1.19 update on the company's music blog.
Mizuta, Yamazaki and Sekito join Final Fantasy XIV score
French language site Musica Ludi has posted a news item translating to "Nobuo Uematsu is not alone anymore on Final Fantasy XIV." The staff role for the 1.19 version update reveals three additional composers are contributing to the game score.

Final Fantasy XIV update 1.19, due for release on October 5, will add new music to the massively multi-player online RPG's soundtrack, which is currently being previewed by sound designer Masayoshi Soken on the Square Enix Music Blog.
