SuperSweep Ustream previews Magical Chase album
Shinji Hosoe and Yosuke Yasui of Tokyo-based record label SuperSweep are hosting a preview of upcoming albums on the Tobidase SuperSweep Ustream channel. Special guests Masaharu Iwata and Basiscape are introducing the upcoming Magical Chase (1991) soundtrack album, including new arrangements by the studio.
Technictix Remix Vol.1~3 on Bandcamp
In 2008, SuperSweep published three remix albums arranging tracks from the PlayStation 2 music game Technictix, produced by Street Fighter EX developer Arika. Technictix Remix Volumes 1 through 3 are now available stream in full on Bandcamp, featuring arrangements by Ayako Saso and Takayuki Aihara.
Mega Man Network Transmission soundtrack returns
Tokyo-based record label Sweeprecord has announced a soundtrack release for GameCube action title Mega Man Network Transmission, developed by Arika with Capcom. Music for the game, due for release November 2 in Japan, is by SuperSweep composers Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso and Yosuke Yasui.
SuperSweep's SamplingMasters open Bandcamp page
SuperSweep's SamplingMasters (Shinji Hosoe and Ayako Saso), heard on Prismatic Solid's soundtrack and numerous Ridge Racer titles, have opened a Bandcamp page. Ten featured Comic Market releases, resurrected as digital downloads, are for the first time available to stream in full online.
NanoSweep14 audio demo
SuperSweep has posted a five-minute audio demo to YouTube for the album NanoSweep14. The five-track Comic Market 82 release features music by Ridge Racer series composers Hiroshi Okubo, Ryo Watanabe, Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso and Takahiro Eguchi.
Time Travelers trailer previews music by Hideki Sakamoto
Publisher Level-5 has released a story trailer for adventure game Time Travelers, due out July 12 in Japan for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable. Original music for the story-driven title is by Hideki Sakamoto of Noisycroak, composer of echochrome and 428: In a Blockaded Shibuya.
Ridge Racer Planetary Sounds cross-fade sample on SoundCloud
Tokyo-based label Sweeprecord has uploaded a six-minute cross-fade sample from the album Ridge Racer Planetary Sounds. The soundtrack to the racing game for PlayStation Vita by Namco Bandai Games features music by Hiroshi Okubo, Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, Rio Hamamoto and other artists.

Tokyo sound studio Sweeprecord has posted a four-minute cross-fade sample for the soundtrack to Under Defeat to their official SoundCloud account. Music for the arcade and Sega Dreamcast shooter, soon to be given enhanced ports on PS3 and Xbox 360, is by Ridge Racer series composer Shinji Hosoe.
