Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Box detailed
Square Enix will release the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box in Japan this December, bundling every numbered series title for PlayStation consoles. A three-disc soundtrack selection will be included, containing music chosen through a fan survey and piano arrangements of Nobuo Uematsu's compositions.
The World Ends With You iOS soundtrack at TGS
Today Square Enix released The World Ends With You: Solo Remix through the iTunes Store. The game's soundtrack album, titled "Subarashiki Kono Sekai -Crossover-" will go on sale at the Tokyo Game Show, featuring ten enhanced editions of Takeharu Ishimoto's songs from the DS title and Kingdom Hearts 3D.
Final Fantasy X Chips features Asagen
The Square Enix e-Store revealed earlier today that chiptune cover album Final Fantasy X Chips will feature arrangement by Rokko Chan Soundtracks composer Asagen. Other artists contributing to the arrange album, due out September 19, include DJ OMKT, W2X, Xinon, Kplecraft and Bokkadenci.
Final Fantasy IX Chips features Far East Recording
Final Fantasy IX Chips has been listed on the Square Enix e-Store for release on September 19. The chiptune arrange album will feature 8-bit styled covers of music from the PlayStation title by guest artists ajiponn, Xinon, mochilon and Far East Recording (aka Omodaka), as well as Sexy-Synthesizer.
Secret of Mana Genesis arrange album on iTunes
Square Enix's Secret of Mana Genesis, an album arranging music from Squaresoft's Super Nintendo action role-playing game, has been released digitally through iTunes. Brief samples of all sixteen tracks, arranged by World of Mana series composer Hiroki Kikuta, are available to sample online.
Final Fantasy VII Chips album announced
Square Enix will be following up chiptune cover album Final Fantasy XI Chips with four additional chip music releases. Final Fantasy VII Chips has been added to the company's e-Store for release on September 19, featuring arrangements of music from the PlayStation RPG by Sexy-Synthesizer and DJ OMKT of SQ Chips.
The World Ends With You headed to iOS
Square Enix's "subaseka" teaser site appears to be counting down to the announcement of an iOS port of The World Ends With You, featuring enhanced arrangements of Takeharu Ishimoto's music. The mobile game's soundtrack album has been listed for release on October 1 on the publisher's e-Store.
Romancing SaGa Battle Arrange samples online
Earlier today Square Enix's official website for Re:Birth II - Romancing SaGa Battle Arrange underwent renewal, unveiling three samples from the forthcoming album. Due for release on August 29, composer Kenji Ito's ten arranged battle themes commemorate the 20th anniversary of Romancing SaGa.
Secret of Mana+ streaming on Nico Nico
Composer Hiroki Kikuta created the arrange album Secret of Mana+ in 1993, following the release of the Super Nintendo action RPG by Squaresoft. Earlier today the musician linked to a Nico Nico video of the full album, which might be taken as an invitation to try out the suboptimal audio stream before purchasing.
Piano Collections Final Fantasy XII announced
Completionists rejoice! The Final Fantasy series' sole holdout for an official piano covers collection will soon be making its way to music stores in Japan. Piano Collections Final Fantasy XII will contain new renditions of music composed by Basiscape's Hitoshi Sakimoto, also of Final Fantasy Tactics.
Game Addicts perform Secret of Mana medley
Game Addict's Music Ensemble has uploaded a 14-minute orchestral medley of music from Secret of Mana. The live performance features nine themes from Hiroki Kikuta's score to the Super Nintendo action RPG, which will receive an arrange album release titled "Secret of Mana Genesis" on August 8 in Japan.

Final Fantasy XIV update 1.23 music cross-fade sample
Masayoshi Soken has uploaded to the Square Enix Music Blog a cross-fade sample from the score to Final Fantasy XIV update 1.23. Music from the MMORPG will be included in a sampler CD, available during the "25th Anniversary of Final Fantasy" event, taking place at Shibuya's Hikarie Hall on September 1.
