Vanillaware's opening movie from Muramasa Rebirth for the PlayStation Vita portable console and Dragon's Crown trailer are now available to view on YouTube. Music is by composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, with Basiscape musicians Masaharu Iwata, Mitsuhiro Kaneda, Kimihiro Abe, Noriyuki Kamikura, Azusa Chiba and Yoshimi Kudo.
Runner 2 EP by Disasterpeace on Bandcamp

Soul Sacrifice battle theme orchestral video
Sony has posted the second behind-the-scenes video from Skywalker Sound on the making of the orchestral score for PlayStation Vita exclusive Soul Sacrifice. "The Beginning of the End," written by Afrika composer Wataru Hokoyama, aims to enhance the drama of the protagonist's battles against giant enemy adversaries.

Sony has posted a three-minute video documenting the orchestral performance of the main theme to Soul Sacrifice, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda and conducted by Wataru Hokoyama. The action role-playing game is due out March 7 in Japan, exclusively for the PlayStation Vita portable console.
Muramasa Rebirth announced for PlayStation Vita
Aksys Games has acquired the rights to publish Muramasa Rebirth in English-language regions later this year for the PlayStation Vita. The port of the Nintendo Wii title developed by Vanillaware with Marvelous AQL features music by Odin Sphere composer Hitoshi Sakimoto and Tokyo-based music studio Basiscape.
Indies dominate 2013 GDC audio award nominations
In addition to the five audio finalists for the Independent Games Festival, the Game Developers Conference has named three independently developed game titles nominees for the 2013 Game Developers Choice audio award. The nominees are Journey, Hotline Miami, Sound Shapes, Halo 4 and Assassin's Creed III.
Team label to publish Soul Sacrifice soundtrack
Record label Team Entertainment will publish the soundtrack album to PlayStation Vita-exclusive action RPG Soul Sacrifice on March 13 in Japan. Composed by Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears) and Wataru Hokoyama (Afrika), the game score is being performed by a full-size orchestra at Skywalker Sound.
Namco Sounds uploads Katamari Aventure Damacy
Namco Bandai Games' company netlabel has uploaded the three-track single Katamari Aventure Damacy to the iTunes Store, with brief samples available to stream online. The Namco Sounds release marks the third soundtrack album associated with the PlayStation Vita exclusive title Touch My Katamari.
Persona 3 & 4 Vocal Selection excerpts on iTunes
Atlus has released the digital album Persona 3 & 4 Vocal Sound Selection via the iTunes Store in Japan, including songs from Persona 4 Arena. Brief samples of each of the 21 music tracks composed by Shoji Meguro and featuring vocals by Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice and Shihoko Hirata, are available online.

Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality are readying Xbox Live Arcade sidescrolling shooter Sine Mora for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita consoles this week. Oddworld Inhabitants has shared the first gameplay video previewing developer Just Add Water's high definition remake of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Subtitled "New 'n' Tasty," music for the puzzle platformer, first released in 1997 for PlayStation and Windows, is by Josh Gabriel and Ellen Meijer.
