Dead Space series composer Jason Graves has uploaded four Tomb Raider trailer music themes, mixed and remastered for streaming in full through SoundCloud. The soundtrack Survivalist Cut (a ten-track, 60-minute selection from the game score) will ship with the North American collector's edition on March 5.

Square Enix has uploaded a preview of Limsa Lominsa territory music from the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta. Music for the massively multiplayer online RPG, due to relaunch in mid-2013 on PCs and PlayStation 3, is by in-house composers Naoshi Mizuta, Ryo Yamazaki, Tsuyoshi Sekito and Masayoshi Soken.

Normand Corbeil, award-winning composer of the score to Heavy Rain, has died at the age of 56. The musician was scoring Quantic Dream's psychological thriller Beyond: Two Souls before succumbing to pancreatic cancer on the afternoon of January 25, following a five-month battle with the disease.
