The FL Studio software compilation features music by Ridge Racer series composers AJURIKA (Akitaka Tohyama), Hiroshi Okubo and Ryo Watanabe.

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the classic arcade shooter Xevious, the Namco Bandai netlabel Namco Sounds has released the Namco Sound Player for iPhone and iPad. The iOS application allows you reproduce the sounds and music of Xevious by tapping buttons on the touchscreen of your mobile device.
Wayô Records distributing Ni no Kuni soundtrack
France's Wayô Records, organizers of Masashi Hamauzu and Michiru Oshima Paris concerts, are the exclusive distributors outside Japan of the Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch soundtrack CD. "The music was meant to have a certain elegance," says composer Joe Hisaishi, "based on traditional folk music, of Ireland and elsewhere."
XEVIOUS 30th Anniversary Tribute crossfade video
Namco Bandai Games has posted a crossfade sample movie from the XEVIOUS 30th Anniversary Tribute album, paying homage to the influential arcade shooter designed by Masanobu Endō. The album, featuring arrangements by AJURIKA, Hiroshi Okubo, Junichi Nakatsuru and Yuu Miyake, is due out on January 29 on iTunes.
Composer Joe Hisaishi talks Wrath of the White Witch
In the latest behind-the-scenes movie uploaded to publisher Namco Bandai's YouTube Channel, Joe Hisaishi discusses his score for developer Level-5's PlayStation 3 RPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. The composer is perhaps best known for his contributions to Princess Mononoke and other Studio Ghibli animated films.

Namco Bandai Games' company netlabel has uploaded the three-track single Katamari Aventure Damacy to the iTunes Store, with brief samples available to stream online. The Namco Sounds release marks the third soundtrack album associated with the PlayStation Vita exclusive title Touch My Katamari.
Sweeprecord posts Dragon Spirit sound samples
Tokyo-based record label Sweeprecord has uploaded a six-minute crossfade movie to YouTube, featuring samples from the upcoming two-disc release "Shinji Hosoe WORKS VOL.1 Dragon Spirit." The arcade shooter developed by Namco, released in 1987 in Japan, marked the prolific composer's very first game score.
