All night chip music party 1H1D!!! Vol. 29 will take place on Saturday, April 13. Guest artists KUNIO, 200Gavas and Duran will join crew members DJ Master Kohta, KAZ a.k.a.HIGE, NNNNNNNNNN, Fish Oil, Toriena, and other Kansai area chiptune artists at the game culture hangout spot Cafe la Siesta in Kyoto.
Kyoto-based chiptune netlabel Madmilky Records opens
Kyoto-based Game Boy artists Toriena and NNNNNNNNNN have launched chiptune netlabel Madmilky Records, dedicated to the creation of battery powered dance music. The label's debut release is Over Sleep Insomniac Maiden, composed by Blip Festival Tokyo featured artist Toriena, which includes four free-to-download mp3 files.

Chip music collective 8bitpeoples has announced the full lineup for the Blip Festival Tokyo 2012 concert, described as the last planned installment of the Blip Festival concert series. Artists performing at Koenji High on October 20 and 21 include Bit Shifter, Nullsleep, Sulumi, Bud Melvin, Covox and NNNNNNNNNN.
1H1D!!! Kyoto chiptune compilations on Bandcamp
DJ Master Kohta of Kyoto game culture shop and chiptune venue Cafe la Siesta has posted five chip music compilations to Bandcamp, published between 2009 and 2011. 1H1D!!! Honto ha ichijikan ijou!!! volumes 1 through 5 feature music by Kohta, BEN, Longfi, Richiter, Big Brother, NNNNNNNNNN and other artists.
Game Boy music by NNNNNNNNNN debuts on Bandcamp
Kyoto-based Game Boy artist NNNNNNNNNN has released a five-track EP through Bandcamp. Cosmic Lovely Lovely, available in your file format of choice for "name your price," includes music composed with Little Sound Dj between November 2011 and mid-2012. Cover art for the album is by Nana Kawanishi.
