At Leonard J. Paul's GDC talk today on the dynamic audio of independently developed Vessel, the musician discussed his dynamic audio design on the puzzle platformer. After three years of development, Strange Loop Games will release the title on Steam later this month, featuring music by Jon Hopkins.
Retro City Rampage Soundtrack is now available to sample in full and purchase in your file format of choice through Bandcamp. The 24-track album features music by virt (Jake Kaufman), Freaky DNA (Leonard J. Paul) and Norrin Radd (Matt Creamer) from the game by Vblank Entertainment.
Retro City Rampage co-composer Leonard Paul of Lotus Audio will be presenting at the 2012 Game Developers Conference on Strange Loop Games' independently developed title Vessel. "Techniques of dynamic sound design will examine the methods of sequencing, layering, layered sequencing, spectral layering, effects parameter modulation, asymmetric loops and granulation."
