Metal Gear Rising Revengeance vocal samples online
Konami has posted six one-minute samples from the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Vocal Tracks album to YouTube. The 29-track release, featuring music from Platinum Games' Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 action title composed by Lineage II co-composer Jamie Christopherson, is due out February 21 in Japan.
Frontier Gate Boost+ music samples on YouTube
Konami's online store has uploaded soundtrack samples from the expansion to Frontier Gate, the Japan-only PlayStation Portable action role-playing game. Developed by Tri-Ace, Frontier Gate Boost+ features original and arranged music by Naoyuki Sato (known also by the fearsome moniker NEKOMATA-Master).
RushJet1 reformats Mega Man 3 using VRC6 chip
RushJet1 (Tadd Nuznov) has reworked the entirety of Capcom's Mega Man 3 music score using Konami's VRC6, the chip that allowed Famicom title Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse access to three additional sound channels. Thirty-one jazzy, skillfully executed renditions are available for "name your price" on Bandcamp.
Zone of the Enders Remix Edition samples posted
Konami has posted samples of all 13 music tracks from Zone of the Enders Remix Edition, due out October 24 in Japan. Participating arrangers on the album, coinciding with the HD edition release, include DJ Uraken (Otomedius), Sota Fujimori (Contra: Shattered Soldier) and Wall5 (Sonic Generations).
Konamistyle uploads Pop'n Music 20 Fantasia samples
Konami's online store Konamistyle has uploaded 61 music samples to YouTube from the three-CD soundtrack to Pop'n Music 20 Fantasia, due out July 25 in Japan. Participating artists include Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Cross), Sota Fujimori (SYNTHESIZED) and Soyo Oka (Super Mario Kart), among others.
Silent Hill: Book of Memories soundtrack on iTunes
The soundtrack to Silent Hill: Book of Memories by Daniel Licht has appeared ahead of schedule. Music from Konami's PlayStation Vita survival horror title, developed by WayForward Technologies, is currently available to sample and purchase on iTunes, featuring series vocalist Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.
Silent Hill: Downpour soundtrack on iTunes
The soundtrack to Konami's horror title Silent Hill: Downpour by composer Daniel Licht is now available to sample and purchase online through iTunes and Amazon mp3. The composer's soundtrack to portable title Silent Hill: Book of Memories will be published digitally later this month.
Hydorah's Gryzor87 shares Penguin Adventure Album
Hydorah composer Gryzor87 has arranged the soundtrack to Konami’s Penguin Adventure (1986) for MSX, which was incidentally Hideo Kojima's first game for the company as a designer. The 32-track album is available for free download in mp3 format.

According to the Internet Movie Database, musicians Akira Yamaoka and Jeff Danna are reprising their roles on the 2006 Silent Hill motion picture for the 2012 sequel, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, currently in post-production.

Pre-orders open for Suikoden PSP soundtrack bundle
Konami's online retailer Konamistyle has opened pre-orders for Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki for PlayStation Portable. The limited-edition bundle including a three-CD soundtrack and drama album will ship February 9 in Japan.
Sdatcher soundtrack samples online
Konami has uploaded eleven minute-long samples from the upcoming Sdatcher radio drama and soundtrack album, which will go on sale on two CDs in Japan on December 14 through the Konamistyle website. The music tracks, composed by Akira Yamaoka, are available on YouTube.
