Pico Pico Cafe of Kichijouji, Tokyo will host a chiptune sound workshop on May 6, designed to teach Mega Man style Famicom music composition. NSF Music Collective members Hally, Bun and Robokabuto will be presenting in anticipation of their June LCR (Live Communicated Rockman) music event in Shibuya.

Kichijouji's Pico Pico Cafe held their first Picotachi show-and-tell gathering for independent game developers based in the Tokyo area. Presenters at the evening of experimental projects included Lexaloffle founder Joseph White (Voxatron), chiptune VJ m7kenji (Bugtronica) and chip musician Aliceffekt (Hiversaires).
