Final Fantasy XIII-2 Original Soundtrack Plus announced
Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 Original Soundtrack Plus, due out May 30 in Japan. The album will include music from the role-playing game's downloadable contents and English-language release, composed by Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta and Mitsuto Suzuki.
Shootie HG Final Fantasy XIII-2 Q&A on Square Enix Music Blog
The Square Enix Music Blog has posted an email interview in English and Japanese with Shootie HG (Shawn McPherson). The artist arranged the hard rock theme "Crazy Chocobo," composed by Nobuo Uematsu, found in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Previously he contributed vocals and lyrics for two songs featured in Devil May Cry 4, and served a similar role for a track found in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Earlier this week, Square Enix streamed a forty-minute mixtape of numerous music tracks from their latest role-playing game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 during a Ustream event. Today that program, "Final Fantasy XIII-2 Mitsuto Suzuki Balearic Mix," has been uploaded to Square Enix's YouTube channel, previewing music from the soundtrack by Suzuki, Naoshi Mizuta and Masashi Hamauzu.

Square Enix has announced two limited edition releases of Final Fantasy XIII-2 for Europe, each including soundtrack bundles. A Limited Collector's Edition will include a sampler CD, art book, collectible postcards and art print.
