Cave Story creator Daisuke Amaya of Studio Pixel has released an enhanced iOS edition of his game Azarashi for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, available through the Apple App Store. Azarashi challenges you to a game of darts where the very lives of adorable seals are at stake.
Nearly 300 photographs from the first two days of Comic Market 81 have been uploaded to our flickr photo account. They include photos with videogame musicians Daisuke Amaya, Hiroyuki Iwatsuki and Kou Ogata. Further images will be made available tomorrow from the final day of Comiket at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center.
Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya's November 3 presentation "Behind the Scenes of Cave Story" has been archived on the Nico Nico Video service. The thirty-minute talk delivered to a full audience of Tokyo game enthusiasts was moderated by Takumi Naramura of Nigoro and Shoji Nakamura of Asterizm.
Cave Story will be released for Nintendo DSiWare in Japan on November 22 by La-Mulana domestic publisher Asterizm. A new trailer for the game featuring some original animation has been uploaded to YouTube by Japanese developer Nigoro.
