Game composer Chris Huelsbeck has started a project on Kickstarter to crowdfund a three-disc Turrican Soundtrack Anthology. The limited edition box set will include nearly all of the music from the Turrican series of games, newly recorded and arranged, along with three orchestral performances.
Raquel Meyers & Goto80's Bit Brus petscii pirate jam
Raquel Meyers and Goto80 gave a live performance at the chip/noise event Bit Brus in Gothenburg, Sweden on March 24. The lo-fi AV presentation, about pirates looking for treasure and being attacked by wild animals, was created on four Commodore 64s and 100% text mode PETSCII.
