Coinciding with the NES action game's 25th anniversary, one-man Chilean cover band ThePlasmas have posted the twelve-track Mega Man 1: Tribute Album for free download through Facebook.

The collection features the participation of Girlz Melon, Chris Holland, Andreas Perez, Samuel Axe and Hello World in reinterpreting Manami Matsumae's Ice Man, Guts Man, Cut Man, Elec Man and Bomb Man themes.

The Plasmas have previously participated in the making of game arrangement compilations IWADON: Hiroyuki Iwatsuki Tribute Album, Hydorah Arranged Tracks and Splatterhouse: Butchered by Various Artists.
