Game Music Garden has posted on the announcement of the annual Famitsu Presents: Press Start Symphony of Games orchestral concert. The event will take place on September 23, 2012 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, with a follow-up planned for Nagoya on November 10.

This year Press Start will feature live performances of music from Nora for Nintendo DS, composed by Michiko Naruke of Wild Arms. Back in October, the musician performed with the title's arranger, Ace Attorney series composer Noriyuki Iwadare, at the 4 Star Orchestra concert in Tokyo.

Other live performances planned for Press Start include music from Gravity Rush for PlayStation Vita (composed by Kouhei Tanaka), The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Nintendo Wii (composed by Koji Kondo, Mahito Yokota and multiple artists), Kid Icarus Uprising for Nintendo 3DS (composed by multiple artists), God Eater for PlayStation Portable (composed by Go Shiina), and an 8-bit Famicom (NES) medley.

The annual event is curated by orchestrator Taizo Takemoto, composer Nobuo Uematsu, game creator Masahiro Sakurai, scenario writer Kazushige Nojima and composer Shogo Sakai, (shown left to right, above).
