Nubuwo launches Rokko Chan Soundtracks Tohoku Relief Initiative

Nubuwo has launched the website's first non-profit fundraiser, in collaboration with Rokko Chan developer King Soukutu and game-inspired netlabel GameChops.

The Indiegogo campaign is taking place this weekend during the Tokyo Game show. Inspired by Plants vs Zombies composer Laura Shigihara's charity projects benefiting to Tohoku earthquake relief, all proceeds after costs will be donated to Peace Winds Japan's rebuilding efforts, through Mercy Corps.

Previous contributions to the recipients of this fundraiser have provided relief supplies such as tents, blankets and bottled water to people in affected regions of Japan. Looking ahead, Peace Winds Japan is providing assistance in rebuilding salmon hatcheries, expanding seaweed production and providing loans for small businesses.

Help us reach our $1,000 funding goal and we will continue with further efforts to raise awareness of recovery efforts taking place in Northern Japan.
