Killed by Koopa's Stage One album debuts

Game cover band Killed by Koopa has released the debut album Stage One through Bandcamp. The album is available to stream in full through Bandcamp, while live performances can be viewed on YouTube.

Recorded in Björklinge, Sweden the rock covers of Metroid, Sonic, Mario, Rygar and Mega Man themes feature electric guitar performances by Henrik "Mutherpluckin' B" Lidbjörk of 8 Bit Democracy.

From the liner notes: This is Killed by Koopa's debut album, consisting of their own arrangements of great video game songs, recorded live in the studio with virtually no overdubs or post-editing. Comprised mostly of the band's first bunch of songs, it is meant to give a representation of the live sound of Killed by Koopa's earliest days.
