Eiko Ishiwata shares Chrysalis album preview

Vancouver-based game composer Eiko Ishiwata will be releasing a new studio album later this month, featuring seven original pieces. Titled "Chrysalis," the collection will combine "acoustic, post-rock and electronic into a unique, experimental experience," and can be previewed in a new cross-fade video on YouTube.

Eiko wrote the majority of the score for Hogworld: Gnarts Adventure. Her Final Fantasy VI acoustic renditions can be heard via the artist's Music and Remixes Facebook page. Game arrangements by the composer appear in the compilations IWADON, Hydorah Arranged Tracks, Splatterhouse Butchered by Various Artists and Rokko Chan Soundtracks.
