Takayuki Nakamura of Brainstorm has posted Lumines albums Lumines Remixes Winter and L.II Remixes to iTunes. First published in 2007, the music collections feature the interactive sounds and phrases found in the Lumines Live Rockin’ Holiday Pack for Xbox Live Arcade and Lumines II for PlayStation Portable.
Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster pre-orders open
Amazon has opened pre-orders for Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The role-playing game's reveal trailer, featuring music by Nobuo Uematsu and Noriko Matsueda, is scheduled for release on March 25. The first round of screenshots have been posted to flickr.
ilomilo's Daniel Olsén publishes Year Walk soundtrack
Daniel Olsén, the composer of Southend Interactive's score for the puzzle game ilomilo, has published the soundtrack to Simogo Games' eerie iOS puzzler Year Walk. The 19-track score informed by Swedish folk music can be streamed in full through Bandcamp, featuring the song "Oh the Joy" by Jonathan Eng.
Vanillaware's Muramasa and Dragon's Crown trailers
Vanillaware's opening movie from Muramasa Rebirth for the PlayStation Vita portable console and Dragon's Crown trailer are now available to view on YouTube. Music is by composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, with Basiscape musicians Masaharu Iwata, Mitsuhiro Kaneda, Kimihiro Abe, Noriyuki Kamikura, Azusa Chiba and Yoshimi Kudo.
NightSky by Nifflas ported to iPad
NightSky by Nifflas of Knytt Underground has been ported to iPhone and iPad. The original ambient soundtrack by musician Chris Schlarb, developed for the Windows release available through Steam, can be streamed in full on Bandcamp along with the composer's collaborative studio album Psychic Temple.

Kenley Kristofferson of the Into the Score videogame music podcast has devised a homemade Final Fantasy card game, equal parts Magic: The Gathering, Clue and Dissidia Duodecim. The card game is free to construct by downloading and printing out the png image files from the musician's website.
Donna Burke holding Shine On concert in Tokyo
Game vocalist Donna Burke will hold be holding two performances of the "Shine On!" concert in Tokyo on April 13. Taking place at the Akasaka Kumin Center Hall at 1:00 and 5:00 pm, the event will be showcasing songs from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Tales of Legendia, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Magical Chase music samples on Basiscape website
Tokyo-based music studio Basiscape has added to their store page five music samples from the soundtrack to PC engine shooter Magical Chase, composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata for Quest in 1991. The 26-track album was released on Sakimoto's birthday, including seven new arrangements by Basiscape staff.
