Danimal Cannon of the Armcannon game cover band has released the seven-track soundtrack to Cursor Curse, available for download for "name your price" through Bandcamp. Music for the Windows 8 freeware title by Jan de Vries was composed using LSDJ for Game Boy, infused with acoustic drum recordings.

Avex posts Fantasy Life Theme Song Collection excerpts

Avex has posted 14 excerpts from the Fantasy Life Theme Song Collection by Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu. The Japanese language songs performed by Emi Evans and numerous other artists feature in Level-5's town-building RPG for the 3DS, developed by 1-UP Studio, with cover design by illustrator Yoshitaka Amano.

All night chip music party 1H1D!!! Vol. 29 will take place on Saturday, April 13. Square Enix has released two pairs of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy EPs through iTunes, designated BMS (battle tracks), EMS (event scenes), FMS (field tracks) and Chaos Shrine mode. Music from the Nintendo 3DS and iOS title is by Nobuo Uematsu, Naoshi Mizuta, Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masashi Hamauzu.

Far East Recording's Ape Escape scores on iTunes

Soichi Terada of Far East Recording scored Ape Escape 1 & 3, whose soundtracks are available digitally through iTunes. Square Enix has posted music previews of three regions from the Beta release of massively multiplayer online game Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Final Fantasy V released for iPhone and iPad

Square Enix has released the iOS port of classic Super Famicom role-playing game Final Fantasy V, available in English-language territories for iPhone and iPad. Illustrator Kazuko Shibuya redesigned the character art for the mobile port, also featuring the original score by Nobuo Uematsu.

Tsuyoshi Sekito's Guitarworks Selection on iTunes

Square Enix in-house composer Tsuyoshi Sekito really likes to play the guitar. To demonstrate, the musician has published a ten-track compilation including some of his favorite guitar licks, from games including The Last Remnant, as well as the Black Mages concert series and the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children film.
