Nubuwo has partnered with independent developer King Soukutu on the publication of Rokko Chan Soundtracks. The music compilation will include the score to Flash game Rokko Chan by Hokkaido-based composer Asagen, chip remixes by various artists, and arrangements in miscellaneous genres. The album is due out on Bandcamp on July 4 for "name your price."

During a recent discussion with Grasshopper Manufacture chief sound officer Akira Yamaoka, we received word that Play For Japan: The Album Vol. 2 is intended for release in the near future. The game industry relief effort, which was organized following the Tohoku earthquake and tsunamis in Japan last year, features the participation of prominent game composers from various geographical regions and raises funds for the Red Cross in Japan.
