The staff of Nubuwo is teaming up with Noise Channel to host a Rokko Chan listening party on May 31 through Arecibo Radio. RSVP for the program through Facebook if you plan on catching arranged music from the forthcoming compilation, composed by Asagen of Hokkaido, Japan.
Nubuwo partners with King Soukutu on Rokko Chan Soundtracks
Nubuwo has partnered with independent developer King Soukutu on the publication of Rokko Chan Soundtracks. The music compilation will include the score to Flash game Rokko Chan by Hokkaido-based composer Asagen, chip remixes by various artists, and arrangements in miscellaneous genres. The album is due out on Bandcamp on July 4 for "name your price."

The archived contents of Cafe la Siesta's 1H1D!!! v25 Kyoto chiptune party are now available to view in three parts on the game culture bar's Ustream page. Performing during the all-night party were DJ Master Kohta, Bun, Toriena, Saitone, Robokabuto, KAZ a.k.a.HIGE, hizmi, USK and NNNNNNNNNN, among others.

Play For Japan: The Album Vol. 2 announced
During a recent discussion with Grasshopper Manufacture chief sound officer Akira Yamaoka, we received word that Play For Japan: The Album Vol. 2 is intended for release in the near future. The game industry relief effort, which was organized following the Tohoku earthquake and tsunamis in Japan last year, features the participation of prominent game composers from various geographical regions and raises funds for the Red Cross in Japan.

The new Nobuooo is now online at Nubuwo.com. The site supports account crreation through Facebook, submission of items and comments, as well as voting up posts. Over eighty pages of 15-item news posts have been reformatted from with thumbnails, categories, hypertext and iFrame embedding.
Nobuooo launches one-week game audio Kickstarter
The makers of the Nobuooo news site have launched a one-week Kickstarter, together with twelve game-inspired musicians. Proceeds will benefit the artists and allow for founding a new Japanese and English-language web domain on nubuwo.com / ja.nubuwo.com.
Nobuooo launches Japanese language news site
Nobuooo has created the templates for Japanese language news website on ja.nubuwo.com. The new domain's features include account creation through Facebook Connect, item submission, comment posting and voting up posts, as well as the potential to translate content between languages.
