Game arrange circle HellionSounds is preparing their eighth Atlus tribute compilation "Last Floor" for release at Comic Market 81 late this month. The album is set to include twelve tracks arranged from the Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey series soundtracks, Persona 4, Devil Survivor 2 and more.
Square Enix has launched the webpage for arrange album Piano Opera Final Fantasy I/II/III, due out February 29, 2012 in Japan. A track list has been posted, revealing that the thirteen tracks performed by Hiroyuki Nakayama will include "Matoya's Theme" and "Mount Gulug" from Final Fantasy I.

The Square Enix Music Blog has posted an email interview in English and Japanese with Shootie HG (Shawn McPherson). The artist arranged the hard rock theme "Crazy Chocobo," composed by Nobuo Uematsu, found in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Previously he contributed vocals and lyrics for two songs featured in Devil May Cry 4, and served a similar role for a track found in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Namco Sounds has released the soundtrack to Tekken 4 through iTunes. The 42-track album from the arcade and PlayStation 2 fighting game by Namco Bandai Games features music by Yu Miyake, Akitaka Tohyama and Satoru Kosaki, originally released on two compact discs in 2002.

Namco Sounds has released Tekken Tag Tournament Complete Sound Track through iTunes. The 48-track album includes both renditions of music found in the PlayStation 2 and arcade releases of the fighting game by Namco Bandai. Music is by Nobuyoshi Sano, Akitaka Tohyama, Keiichi Okabe, Yu Miyake, Rio Hamamoto, Yoshihito Yano and Satoru Kosaki.
Earlier this week, Square Enix streamed a forty-minute mixtape of numerous music tracks from their latest role-playing game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 during a Ustream event. Today that program, "Final Fantasy XIII-2 Mitsuto Suzuki Balearic Mix," has been uploaded to Square Enix's YouTube channel, previewing music from the soundtrack by Suzuki, Naoshi Mizuta and Masashi Hamauzu.
Hideyuki Fukasawa's first soundtrack album since Street Fighter IV is due for release in Japan on March 8 as part of the Street Fighter X Tekken Collector's Pack. The fighting game bundle for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will come with a two-disc, 46-track album, along with a 44-page art book.

Square Enix has released a trailer for Chrono Trigger for iPhone and Android smart phones. The role-playing game has previously been released for the Super Nintendo, Sony PlayStation and Nintendo DS consoles.
