Final Fantasy Dimensions composer Naoshi Mizuta has shared the main theme to Guardian Cross for free download as an mp3 file. The music track featured in the the fantasy card battle game for mobile devices can be found on the Square Enix Music Blog, linked to the phrase "♪「ガーディアン・クルス」テーマ曲を再生."

Konami's online store Konamistyle has uploaded 61 music samples to YouTube from the three-CD soundtrack to Pop'n Music 20 Fantasia, due out July 25 in Japan. Participating artists include Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Cross), Sota Fujimori (SYNTHESIZED) and Soyo Oka (Super Mario Kart), among others.

Square Enix announces Final Fantasy XI chiptune cover album

Prior to the appearance of SQ Chips 2, Square Enix will be releasing another chiptune cover album. The 10-track Final Fantasy XI Chips goes on sale on July 13 in Japan and will be treating music from the massively multiplayer game to chip music arrangements by Sexy-Synthesizer, Bokkadenci and W2X.

Capcom will be commemorating the 25th anniversary of Mega Man with a ten-disc soundtrack album release in Japan. The Rockman Sound E-Canister is shaped like the E-tank that refills Mega Man's life bar and will be available through the company's online store, beginning September 19, courtesy of the Suleputer label.
