David Kanaga's live GDC set celebrates classic games
Dyad composer David Kanaga has uploaded an alternate take of the live music set he performed at the GDC Venus Patrol party on March 7. Classic game scores represented in the free download include Chrono Trigger, Journey to Silius, Parappa The Rapper, Super Mario 64 and Final Fantasy VI.
Christopher Rhyne's soundtrack to Closure on Bandcamp
Composer Christopher Rhyne has uploaded the soundtrack to Closure, recipient of the audio award at the 2010 Independent Games Festival, which was released today on the PlayStation Network. The eleven track soundtrack and additional three bonus tracks can be streamed in their entirety through Bandcamp.
Canadian Videogame Awards 2012 music nominees announced
The nominees for the 2012 Canadian Videogame Awards have been announced. In the category of best original music, the nominated titles are Assassin's Creed Revelations, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP and Warhammer 40,000.

Machinarium composer Tomas Dvorak (Floex) has created an interactive musical installation controlled by laser pointers within the Olomouc Baroque chapel, together with designer Dan Gregor (Initi). A new video demonstrates how up to ten visitors can play within the musical space.
Alec Holowka scores Offspring Fling
Aquaria co-creator Alec Holowka of Infinite Ammo will be providing original music for Kyle Pulver's Offspring Fling, a foresty action puzzle platformer for PC and Mac. The two indie developers previously teamed up for Depict1, winner of the 2010 Newgrounds Game of the Year award.
Zorya's Nel Blu live video, featuring Musetta
Samorost series composer Tomáš Dvořák (Floex) has uploaded a video from a live performance of "Nel Blu," from his studio album Zorya. The song features Italian music duo Musetta, who reached out to the composer online after playing adventure title Machinarium by Czech developer Amanita Design.

Vancouver-based musician Scott McFadyen has released the soundtrack to Waveform, developed by Eden Industries. Navigate the hazards of the solar system while riding a wave of light in this innovative arcade-action game, released on Steam. The thirteen-track album can be heard in full on Bandcamp.

Composer Phil McCammon has uploaded seven music tracks to SoundCloud, previewing the interactive soundtrack to fantasy racer Krautscape. The musician performed live renditions of music from the game at GDC during the Swiss Game Arcade 2012 event, together with IGF nominee Mario von Rickenbach.
