Exploding Rabbit developing Super Retro Squad
Exploding Rabbit has launched a Kickstarter project to fund the creation of Super Retro Squad for Mac and PC, metamorphosing Super Mario Bros Crossover into an original IP with unique art and sound assets. Crowdfunding will run until July 19. Music and sound effects are by Richard Savery.
Leon reminisces in Resident Evil 6 gameplay movie
Capcom has posted close to twenty-minutes of video footage from the "Campus Visitor's Room" location from Resident Evil 6. Leon Kennedy confronts an infected president at an Ivy League university and reminisces on the similarities to the Raccoon City incident. Music is composed by Akihiko Narita.
Okami HD reveal trailer
Okami HD will be coming exclusively to the PlayStation 3 this fall. Capcom's HD remastering will include trophies and PlayStation Move support, as well as a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. Music for the game is by Masami Ueda, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Rei Kondoh and other artists.
Mistwalker's Party Wave features music by Yuki Nishimura
Mistwalker has released the first trailer for iOS casual surfing title Party Wave, which invites you to direct several surfers on the screen to avoid obstacles and catch waves. Hironobu Sakaguchi is serving as "surf and music director," while original music is being composed by Yuki Nishimura.
Killed by Koopa live at Bistro Hijazz videos online
Swedish cover band Killed by Koopa has uploaded three new videos of game medleys, filmed at the Bistro Hijazz venue in Uppsala, Sweden. They include "Quick Man" and "Cut Man" stage themes from the Mega Man series, the Starcraft Terran theme, and Marble Zone/Oil Ocean from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Publisher Level-5 has released a story trailer for adventure game Time Travelers, due out July 12 in Japan for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable. Original music for the story-driven title is by Hideki Sakamoto of Noisycroak, composer of echochrome and 428: In a Blockaded Shibuya.
Rokko Chan behind-the-scenes with cover band This Place is Haunted
Keyboardist Geoff Barone of cover band This Place is Haunted has posted a six-minute making-of video, offering a behind-the-scenes look at two Rokko Chan Soundtracks arrangements. The band's renditions of "Into the Castle," "Dr. Mad Stage 1" and "Dr Mad Stage 4" are now streaming online.

The trailer for Rokko Chan Soundtracks is now online. Music for the video is composed by Asagen and arranged by K->, both based in Hokkaido, Japan. A 2-disc CD release for the album is currently being crowdfunded (through Friday evening) as part of the Nubuwo Summer Bundle project on Kickstarter.
Mega Ran 5th anniversary edition due in July
Hip-hop artist Random, aka Mega Ran, is currently preparing a fifth anniversary re-release for Mega Man cover album Mega Ran. Expanded to two discs, Mega Ran 5th Anniversary Edition has been fully remastered by K-Murdock of Forever Famicom and includes both new arrangements and instrumental tracks.
Demons' Score has music by Yoko Shimomura and various artists
Takashi Tokita of Square Enix's mobile games division attended the E3 Expo last week to demo iOS and Android title Demons' Score. The on-rails rhythm shooter features music by different composers for each stage, including tracks by Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts) and Kyouhei Tanaka (Gravity Rush).
Soul Sacrifice E3 trailer
The E3 2012 trailer for PlayStation Vita exclusive title Soul Sacrifice has been posted by Sony Computer Entertainment America. The movie offers an idea of what to expect from the dramatic concept by Keiji Inafune (Dead Rising) and music score by Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears) and Wataru Hokoyama (Afrika).
Soul Hackers reveal trailer
Atlus has released the reveal trailer for Nintendo 3DS enhanced port Devil Summoner Soul Hackers. The portable title will ship on August 30 in Japan, with a promo movie for Shin Megami Tensei IV. The opening anime sequence for the role-playing game features the song "#X," arranged by Ryota Kozuka.
Robert Duncan scores Agni's Philosophy tech demo
Square Enix has released a video demo for their Luminous Studio engine, demonstrating its capacity to depict high quality realtime graphics. Music for the four-minute short, which in the spirit of Final Fantasy envisions ancient magic and advanced science coexisting, is by Los Angeles-based composer Robert Duncan.
