Danny Baranowsky scores Drifter: A Space Trading Game for iOS, Mac and PC
Celsius Game Studios, the creators of iOS space shooter Red Nova, will be crowdfunding Drifter: A Space Trading Game through Kickstarter over the next thirty days. Scoring the open-world sandbox game for iOS, Mac and PC is Danny Baranowsky, the composer of Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac.

Indie Game: The Movie Soundtrack available for pre-order
The soundtrack to Sundance Award-winning documentary Indie Game: The Movie is currently available for pre-order through Bandcamp. Four music tracks from the film score can be sampled in full on Bandcamp. Music is by Jim Guthrie of Capybara Games' Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP.

The composer's score was nominated for an excellence in audio award this year at the Independent Games Festival, taking place during the Game Developers Conference.
Skullgirls soundtrack released on iTunes
The soundtrack to independently developed fighter Skullgirls is now available to sample and purchase on iTunes and CD Baby. Music for the downloadable title by Autumn Games and Reverge Labs is by Michiru Yamane (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night), Vincent Diamante (Flower), Blaine McGurty and Brenton Kossak.

The official PlayStation Blog has posted a video interview with Shawn McGrath, creator of psychedelic racer Dyad. He describes the PlayStation Network exclusive's interactive music score, designed by Proteus composer David Kanaga. A Dyad EP is currently available for free download through Bandcamp.
Virt scores Legend of the Time Star
Jake "virt" Kaufman is writing original music for retro action role-playing game Legend of the Time Star, developed by New York indie-core collective Attack Mountain. A Kickstarter campaign will be taking place over the next 30 days to fund the title, with three music tracks available to sample on YouTube.

The soundtrack to Czech studio Amanita Design's point-and-click adventure title Botanicula is now available to stream in full and purchase through Bandcamp. The game score by DVA received the award for excellence in audio at the 2012 Independent Games Festival during the Game Developers Conference.

Mega Ran shares Journey hip-hop excursions
Game-inspired rapper Random, aka Mega Ran, has created a four-track tribute album to the PlayStation 3 online title Journey, composed by Austin Wintory and developed by Thatgamecompany. The album, titled "Journey: A Hip Hop Excursion," is available through Bandcamp as a free download.
Just in time for spring: Pixeljam's Snowball
Just in time for spring, independent developer Pixeljam has released browser game Snowball, free to play online. The sprite-based, snow-themed pinball game from the makers of Dino Run SE and Cream Wolf, features music by Miles Tilmann and Mark DeNardo.

Independent game studio Pixeljam and musician deadmau5 are collaborating on content for Queasy Games' Sound Shapes for PlayStation Vita. On the official PlayStation Blog, producer Jason deGroot (6955) demos a level showing off the results of the audio-visual collaboration.
