Truthcannon album released by A_Rival
Bay Area musician A_Rival, the composer of Capcom's Street Fighter X Mega Man, has released his first full-length album since 8-Bit Pimp. Truthcannon, available through Bandcamp, features vocal performances by Super Square collaborator Helen Eugene, as well as remixes by Trash80, Abducted By Sharks and bLiNd.

Tokyo-based Game Boy artist Kunio (Masuo Yamamoto) has posted a 14-minute selection from his Mega Rock Fan Festa pre-party set, performed at Shinjuku's 16SHOTS game bar. Also available for download from SoundCloud is the musician's Mega Man vs MC Hammer chiptune mashup "E-CAN't Touch This."

ＦＺ： ＳＩＤＥ Ｚ, the second official FEZ remix album by composer Disasterpeace, is now available to stream in full on Bandcamp. Anamanaguchi Endless Fantasy album crowdfunded
Anamanaguchi's Endless Fantasy album, featuring dance music created using hacked Game Boys and Famicom consoles, has reached its funding goal on Kickstarter. Backer rewards include the chip rock album as a digital download, on compact disc, in a USB drive together with music videos, as well as limited edition vinyl.
Diskette Deluxe's My Amiga vol. 1 on Bandcamp
My Amiga vol. 1 by indie game composer Rutger Muller is now available for "name your price" through the Diskette Deluxe Bandcamp page. The album is inspired by the Commodore Amiga, the musician writes, from the prog of Chris Huelsbeck and funk of Martin Iveson, to the house music of Barry Leitch and the melodies of David Whittaker.

Pico Pico Cafe hosts Rockman Chiptune workshop
Pico Pico Cafe of Kichijouji, Tokyo will host a chiptune sound workshop on May 6, designed to teach Mega Man style Famicom music composition. NSF Music Collective members Hally, Bun and Robokabuto will be presenting in anticipation of their June LCR (Live Communicated Rockman) music event in Shibuya.

French Canadian multimedia artist Aliceffekt has uploaded a soundtrack preview for his iOS adventure game Hiversaires. The seven-minute electronic music track is currently streaming on YouTube, while the full game has been made available for purchase through the iTunes Store as of April 20.
