Mega Rock Fan Festa live Rockman event set for June

The Mega Rock Fan Festa, the latest addition to the LCR Rockman Sound Event series, has been announced for June 29 in Tokyo. Mega Man 9 sound director Ippo Yamada will be present to give a talk session on the music of the game series.

The event, taking place at the Lapin et Halot live space in Shibuya, will showcase music performances by tom2 of the Akihabara Game Song DJ Bar event series, along with the NSF Music Collective.

Participating Famicom-inspired artists Hally, Bun, Robokabuto and Tappy have previously performed live chip music at 1H1D!!! shows. Video footage from those events, taking place at Cafe la Siesta in Kyoto, can be viewed below.
