In a new half-hour video uploaded to YouTube and posted to the Gamemusic Garden Japanese-language blog, Final Fantasy III composer Nobuo Uematsu peruses fan arrangements of his "Eternal Wind" theme.

The videos by Kou Ogata of k-waves lab, concert organizer dayotan of 2083, Sweeprecord collaborator Scream no Hito, as well as rexage, tokku, seren, hiyama_vln, ike-san, pianoYN and Cap are variously described as "interesting," "pretty," "skilled" and "adorable." All were submitted in response to a contest organized by Square Enix, coinciding with the release of the role-playing game's PlayStation Portable port.

While the video does not contain English language subtitles, the musician's facial expressions alone speak volumes. View numerous interpretations of the classic overworld theme, originally composed for the Nintendo Famicom console software, in the below embedded player. The music gets going at the two-minute mark, followed by arrangements at 3:40.
