Skyrim added to Press Start 2012 concert lineup

Joining orchestral performances of music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Legend of Mana, the 2012 Press Start Symphony of Games concert will feature music from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim by Jeremy Soule.

While music selections for Famitsu's annual event predominantly favor game titles developed in Japan, Jonathan Coulton's end theme to Portal was introduced by emcee Masahiro Sakurai and performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra in 2009. The lyrics to "Still Alive" were sung by vocalist Mariko Otsuka in Japanese.

This year's concert will take place on September 23 at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, conducted by Taizo Takemoto. A second performance will take place in Nagoya on November 10.
