Man with the Iron Fists debut trailer

Game composer Howard Drossin (Splatterhouse, Afro Samurai) is co-composing the score for The Man with the Iron Fists with music producer and actor RZA, the director of the film. The martial arts action movie, set in feudal China, stars Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung and Lucy Liu.

Drossin previously worked with RZA on the Afro Samurai game score. The composer's orchestration credits include the films Red Tails and 25th Hour, composed by Terence Blanchard. His contributions to game soundtracks date back to Sega titles Sonic & Knuckles, The Ooze and Comix Zone.

The entire score to Splatterhouse for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was featured in last month's Nubuwo Summer Bundle and can be streamed in full on Bandcamp. A remix album titled "Splatterhouse: Butchered by Various Artists" is free to download, featuring arrangements of Howard Drossin's original compositions by Eiko Ishiwata, Pocket Groovy and Matheus Manente, among other indie game composers.
