Retrofuture netlabel Telefuture has published the debut album "Formative Epoch" by Mr. Nissness. Inspired by electronic musicians of the '70s and '80s, including Giorgio Moroder, Jan Hammer and Harold Faltermeyer, the EP can be purchased digitally or as a cassette tape. From the liner notes:

The four song EP, entitled Formative Epoch, reflects a sentimental journey to reconnect with those long lost, carefree days of his youth.

"Nightfall / Emissary" (which can also be heard on the Memories of the Future Compilation), captures the feeling of an 80s neo-noir crime drama anthem, while "Departure" parallels electronic compositions one might hear in the soundtrack to a John Hughes movie.

"Failure Embrace" exhibits all the characteristics an 80s synth-pop tune. To conclude the EP, "Formative Epoch" is a classic 8-bit instrumental ballad.
