Exploding Rabbit developing Super Retro Squad

Exploding Rabbit has launched a Kickstarter project to fund the creation of Super Retro Squad for Mac and PC, metamorphosing both the 8-bit and 16-bit iterations of Super Mario Bros Crossover into an original IP with unique art and sound assets.

Crowdfunding will run until July 19, with backer rewards including your statue in the game, NPCs in your likeness, and even unique skins for your favorite character. Music and sound effects for Super Retro Squad are by Richard Savery, while the Kickstarter video features music by Fabien Campaner.
