Tokyo-based Game Boy artist Kunio (Masuo Yamamoto) has posted a 14-minute selection from his Mega Rock Fan Festa pre-party set, performed at Shinjuku's 16SHOTS game bar. Also available for download from SoundCloud is the musician's Mega Man vs MC Hammer chiptune mashup "E-CAN't Touch This."
Pokémon Ballet set to Kanto Symphony
Ballet choreographer Andrew Plotner has uploaded a half-hour video of his Pokémon Ballet, based on the story and characters of the Nintendo game series. The ballet, performed at the Creighton Lied Arts Center in Omaha, Nebraska, is set to the Kanto Symphony album arranged by Skotein and released through iTunes.
HyperDuck releases Knightmare Tower score
HyperDuck SoundWorks of Belfast, Northern Ireland has released the seven-track soundtrack to Knightmare Tower, a free online monster-slicing game by Juicy Beast Studio. The musicians' previous releases include scores to Dust: An Elysian Tail and The Blocks Cometh, also available to stream in full through Bandcamp.
FantomenK posts Rad Raygun 8-bit soundtrack
Swedish chip music ninja FantomenK has posted his soundtrack to Rad Raygun, an '80s style 2D platformer presented in Game Boy shades of monochrome off-green, available through Xbox Indies and Steam. The musician previously arranged Jet Man's stage theme for Rokko Chan Soundtracks, also available through Bandcamp.
Naoshi Mizuta shares FFXI anniversary remix
Square Enix is marking the eleventh anniversary of massively multiplayer RPG Final Fantasy XI by launching a new portal website featuring celebratory illustrations by artist Yusuke Naora. Composer Naoshi Mizuta has posted a new arrangement of his "Grand Duchy of Jeuno" theme, composed in 2002, for free download in mp3 format.
Vagrant Story digital soundtrack on iTunes
Square Enix has released the 31-track digital soundtrack to PlayStation 2 action role-playing game Vagrant Story through iTunes, composed by Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto. An exhibition of illustrator Akihiko Yoshida's concept art from the game is currently on display at the Artnia Store in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Maiden trailers
Atlus has posted the first two trailers for Nintendo 3DS role-playing game New Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Maiden. The game, planned for release on June 27 in Japan, features music by series composer Yuzo Koshiro, including new acoustic arrangements of "Green Green Woodlands" and "Initial Strike" from Etrian Odyssey.
OC ReMix releases Deus Ex: Sonic Augmentation

Mystery Gift: an Original Pokémon Tribute
Mystery Gift, available for "name your price" through Bandcamp, is an all-original album by Benjamin Briggs, designed to sound like a video game soundtrack. What started as an ordinary music project quickly became a full expression of the game cover musician's love for the Pokémon franchise and what it meant to his childhood.

The composer has won two Academy Awards for his scores for the films Brokeback Mountain and Babel.
